Our hero attended Pleasant Valley High School in Brodheadsville PA. He played football as an Offensive tackle and Defensive linebacker/end. During his senior season he earned 2nd team league honors as an offensive tackle.

After High school, Mr. Carpenito attended Kutztown University, first as an Art Education major, then as a Secondary Education/social studies student. While at Kutztown, he made the dean’s list the final 3 years of school, earning accolades from the history department. Mr. Carpenito was also awarded with admission to Phi Alpha theta, the National Historical Honor Society.

In 2002 He was hired by the Allentown School District, to teach Honors U.S. History 1 at Dieruff High School. While there, Mr. Carpenito was the S.A.D.D. advisor for the last 3 years of his tenure there.

In 2007 Mr. Carpenito was hired by the Parkland School District and taught American Studies 1 Honors for first 3 years. During that time our hero also supervised the Honors History Day program for his students. Additionally he was also the adviser for Odyssey of the Mind for 2 years from 2010 thru 2011. Currently he is teaching American Studies 1 & 2.

Embracing the idea of life-long learning, Mr. Carpenito has continued his education by completing his 1st master’s program in Classroom Technology. He is currently working on his 2nd master’s degree in Educational Leadership to acquire his principal certificate.

As an instructor, Mr. Carpenito wants all of his students to improve everyday and be better prepared, more skilled, and more knowledgeable then before they were enrolled in his class. He is student first, but holds them to a high standard of academic performance,
